Thank you for being here!

I’m Bella, an artist, environmental researcher, and emerging educator based in Toronto. I spent my childhood on Canadian soil, in Girl Guides, working on farms, and learning to appreciate the natural world through hands‑on experiences. Later, when my family moved to Grand Cayman, I was immersed in an entirely different landscape that opened my eyes to just how wide, complex, and varied our universe truly is. Immersing myself in these two contrasting ecosystems shaped my love of learning and my perspectives on life.

That sense of wonder has stayed with me. Today, I love working with people of all ages, especially in creative and hands‑on learning environments. My creative art practice includes sculpture, drawing, ceramics, textiles and a broad range of other mixed‑media work, often inspired by small details of nature and everyday life.

Alongside my studio work, I create clear, accessible educational materials about environmental topics, and I’ve collaborated with community groups, student unions, and research teams to support public learning and engagement. I also design and facilitate creative workshops that help learners explore materials, build confidence, express themselves, and connect to nature.

A recent graduate from the University of Toronto, I’m currently developing my practice as a Primary/Junior educator, and I’m passionate about creating welcoming spaces where curiosity, creativity, and care can grow. I think of educators from my youth who inspired me, and I hope to do the same for others. Whether I’m teaching, researching, or making art, I’m always drawn to the same idea: learning happens when we slow down, pay attention, and connect with the world around us.
